Smarter Appraising Starts With This Class: Hands-On AI Tools for 2026 & Beyond
“Remember when cell phones changed everything? AI is the next game-changing tool for appraisers.”
Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer theoretical—it is already showing up in real estate data, lender tools, review processes, and valuation-related analysis. Residential appraisers are increasingly encountering AI-generated content and automated insights, whether they choose to use these tools or not. AI is not going away; its presence in the appraisal profession will only continue to expand.
Designed for real estate professionals at all experience levels, this class requires no technical background and emphasizes real-world application, professional judgment, and informed decision-making—helping appraisers remain credible, compliant, and prepared as technology continues to evolve around the profession.
In this class, you will learn how to:
- Understand what AI is—and what it is not
- Identify how AI is currently being applied in real estate
- Use AI tools to assist with research, market analysis, and narrative development
- Set up privacy and system settings to help ensure confidentiality and USPAP compliance
- Automate parts of your appraisal process to save time
- Summarize documents and market data quickly and accurately
- Turn MLS data into supportable adjustments using graphs, charts, and visual insights
- Create visuals and narratives that clearly communicate market trends
- Apply AI tools to common appraisal tasks with confidence
This hands-on class focuses on real examples and practical workflows to help you work more efficiently, communicate more clearly, and stay competitive in a changing industry. A more advanced, in-depth AI course is planned for March 2026 for those who want to continue building on these skills.
