Course Description
Mr. Salmon will discuss the valuation principles, concepts, and market forces impacting the valuation of Residential Land. Topics will include highest and best use, principle of consistent use, and land valuation applications. Class will also include a review of the principles of valuation, elements of value , external forces influencing land values, site analysis, comparable selection, and adjustments.
Instructor Bio
Steve Salmon is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. He is the 2022 President of the Northern California Chapter of the Appraisal and currently serves on the Board of Directions. His firm Garland & Salmon Real Estate Appraisers & Consultant offers valuation services for single & multi family residential, land and land development, and commercial( office, retail, & light industrial) . Mr. Salmon is also active in providing valuation services in support of litigation of properties affected by eminent domain actions, and is practiced in appraising fee and easement interests.
