This is the Foundation's 7 Hour USPAP Update Course - The first part of the class emphasizes the importance of public trust and what that means to us as appraisers and to the public. From there, an overview of the changes to USPAP include both changes to and modifications of Definitions and Standard Rules. Requirements related to anti-discrimination laws are specifically addressed. Integral to the class are interactive questions and case studies that help to illuminate the challenges we face in appraising today. Discussion of the newly restructured USPAP material is also integral to the course.
Early registration recommended. We will be ordering sandwiches for lunch. If you have food allergies - please email reaasacramento@gmail.com upon registration with your food restrictions.
No refunds for no-shows. Cancelations must be received no later than 3/17/25 5 pm.
The Instructor is Corina Rollins, a long time Board Member, College Teacher, Certified Residential Appraiser, and a Foundation Certified USPAP Instructor. She is also a Marin County Assessment Appeals Officer and has written many classes for the REAA over the years.
