The news is full of predictions on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) will transform our society and that no industry can escape the impact of AI. Can AI enhance the productivity of appraisers? Jim Amorin's book, "The Generative Shift - Preparing Appraisers for Artificial Intelligence Models like ChatGPT,  is a comprehensive guide designed to navigate the burgeoning field of generative AI within the real estate appraisal industry."   Jim will discuss issues with discuss issues with traditional appraisal methodology given the availability of information and technology and client expectations.  He will use case studies  to illustrate how AI can enhance your appraisals in the areas of efficiency, accuracy and analysis.   He will touch on how to navigate accuracy, ethical and confidentiality issues when using AI in your appraisals.  This is a class not to be missed as the impact of AI in our world cannot be ignored!

Jim Amorin holds degrees in Finance and Real Estate and Urban Land Development from the University of Texas at Austin.  His contributions to real estate valuation have been recognized globally, making him a sought after resource in the national press and an influential figure in the field.  He was also the past acting and CEO of the Appraisal Institute for over 5 years.
