Given the dynamic nature of the new Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR), REAA believes in-person, hands-on training will be the most effective method for appraisers to learn how to utilize the new form efficiently.
Course Overview: Participants will explore the following key topics:
- The evolution and significance of a dynamic URAR form as part of the appraisal modernization process, aimed at producing consistent, clear, and easy to read appraisal reports.
- The introduction of new data requirements intended to enhance the comprehensiveness of appraisals, thereby meeting the current and future lending needs of our clients.
- The implementation of auto-population fields designed to improve efficiency while reducing errors, omissions, and the need for clarification or extensive addendums.
- The application of a single form for all lending requirements of the Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs), encompassing properties such as 2-4 unit buildings, condominiums, and manufactured homes.
- An introduction to the new Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD 3.6) and its role in enhancing the quality and uniformity of appraisal reports.
- A discussion on modern technology and practical strategies to streamline the integration of the new appraisal into the appraiser’s workflow.
We encourage all appraisers to bring their laptops to view the form and accompanying appendices during the class. Please ensure your device is fully charged, as limited power bars will be available on-site.
