Chapters
Effective January 1, 2026, REAA will transition to a two-chapter structure:
- Bay Area Chapter
- Valley Chapter
This realignment enhances our ability to offer a broader and more consistent range of educational programs, strengthen participation, and connect members across wider regions—while preserving the local engagement that has always defined REAA. Regardless of your chapter affiliation, all REAA members may attend any REAA event or course statewide at the same discounted member rate—one of the most valuable benefits of membership.
This transition allows REAA to:
- Provide 20+ continuing education courses each year, supporting ongoing professional development
- Expand statewide networking and peer engagement opportunities
- Increase administrative efficiency, allowing greater focus on education and advocacy
- Strengthen our influence through REAA’s representation on the National Association of Appraisers Board of Governors, where we advocate for California appraisers at the national level
We are also pleased to announce that REAA has a strong lineup of new education programs and instructors scheduled for 2026, ensuring members continue to receive timely, relevant, and high-quality coursework that meets California’s CE requirements.
Through these updates, REAA is reinforcing its role as a trusted, forward-thinking resource for appraisers—connecting, educating, and representing professionals throughout the state.
