In this course, students will learn to integrate their local MLS data into an analytical computer software tool called R Studio. Students will be able to use the program to generate graphical representations for use in market analysis. Students will need to have R and R Studio downloaded onto a computer to participate.
This course is tailored for beginners who are new to R Studio, with no prior experience required in Excel or similar tools, except for familiarity with their local MLS platform. Specifically designed as an accessible on-ramp, it serves as an ideal starting point for individuals who have completed George Dell's course but have not yet transitioned to R Studio or are preparing to take his courses.
?We will take a few datasets from local areas, plug them into the software, and go over how to format them correctly to make a graph show up. Please note that due to the time limit, this course is not a comprehensive tour of the program and also does not delve into theory or statistics.

Instructor Bio:
Kyle has been a Certified Residential Appraiser since 2015 and is a Partner of Valuable Appraisal, a valuation firm in the East San Fransico Bay Area. Kyle currently serves as the Education Committee Leader for the REAA East Bay (Real Estate Appraiser Association). Kyle is a proud member of the National Association of Appraisers (NAA) and the Community of Asset Analysts(CAA). He lives with his wife and child in Benicia where he operates a mid-term rental ADU.
